Everyone who chooses to strive for personal excellence and attainment of wealth, seems to have one thing in common, they get to a point where they say enough is enough.
I got to this point many years ago, when I realized I had missed my two eldest children growing up due to my work-a-holic life-style. I had always bought self-help programs with great intentions, but never actually 100% had faith, perhaps in my own abilities or the promises made in these self development courses.
Now, years later, (older and wiser), I can see the errors I made. Namely I sum it all up into my lack of action and commitment to my worth while goals I’d set for myself.
Since 2006 I have been working on myself, my attitude towards others and trying to keep control of my emotions and thinking.
Self-control is the key to take you where you want to be in life. I have made huge advances in my well being, state of mind, physical health and life-style. Its all down to desire and commitment.
Most of the people around me don’t seem to be able to see my vision of how great life can be, and that’s OK; I have enough ambition and foresight to enable me to see my success through to my eventual goal. That’s the self-belief and faith part. If it is to be, then its up to me!
You have to get this self-belief for yourself, no-one can do it for you! The first step I’d ask you to do, is to ask your self, ‘why not me?’ Why can’t you do it; (whatever it is you want from life), if that little voice inside you starts giving lots of reasons why you can’t ‘xyz’, then you need to get to work on your own self-belief.
Success and excuses don’t go together well, so get all your excuses out of the way. Do whatever you have to do to put all those excuses to bed, once and for-all. Then, you’ll be amazed and realize, you’ve really started on your road to success!
